For modelling control surface there are two approaches

  1. Deflecting the control surface in the geometry by importing deflected airfoils in that section

      2. Using T6 control analysis by importing the non-deflected airfoil and then giving the deflection in the surface angles
Which one is the recommended approach and how should be the bunching of panels near the control surface.
Also, when I use Uniform density triangular panel method, the panels near the control surface are affected and there is a mismatch between panels and the geometry.

Option 2 is preferable.
Panels should be bunched wherever the geometry changes and is likely to create local pressure and velocity gradients.
Not sure what is meant by mismatch.
