Large discrepancies in the moment values are observed in the moment curve for SACCON UAV using all the methods available in Flow5.
SACCON UAV is flying wing. When I’m trying to model it in flow5, I’m getting stable Cm vs alpha curve, whereas Cm vs alpha must be positive.
It can occur that very high pressure coefficients are generated due to local mesh signularities or sharp geometries, and these pressure forces will mess up the evaluation of the moments. You can see if this is the case by turning on the F/s=qCp arrows.
