Hi André,
I’m trying to construct a new plane, with a wing, tail and fuselage, but nothing is showing on the graphics. The screen stays blank.
Also, when I try to import an XFLR5 project, it imports all the polars but not the graphics. The plane module view stays empty.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
Thanks,
Lily
Thanks André, changing the OpenGL context version from 3.3 to 2.1 seems to have solved it.
I’m gonna hijack my own thread and ask another question if that’s ok – now that I can see my imported geometry, I notice that my fin intersects my elevator.
How do I change the fin Z location? In XFLR5, this was done from the main Plane Editor screen.
Also, I’d like to change the elevator’s tilt angle and can’t find where to do it.
Thanks,
Lily
Nevermind, Just found the answer to my own questions.
Hi Lily,
Looks like an OpenGL related issue. Please follow the instructions on this page:
https://flow5.tech/docs/flow5_doc/UI/OpenGL.html
If that doesn’t fix it, please post back the reference of your graphics card, and confirm that you can at least view the graphs in the polar view.
Also since users running on XP and Win7 have reported display issues, please state on which OS you are working.
André
