Hi, I have done a T6 analysis with the viscous loop enabled. For each scenario, I can see in Flow5 the forces (Fx, Fy, Fz) and moments (Mx, My, Mz) acting on each component, which in my case are two wings and two fins (one at each side of the rear wing). When I export the data to a text file, that information of forces and moments is missing. Although the last three columns are “F.x”, “F.y” and “F.z”, these values do not match the information shown in Flow5 for each test case. In case those forces and moments can be obtained from the information contained in the text file, I will be pleased to be shown how to proceed with it.
Thank you.

Hello,
You’ll need to sum the forces acting on each strip, or the pressure forces acting on the panels. Both are exported as part of the operating point data.
Note that there is an ambiguity in flow5 as to which forces are exported and in which frame of reference. The forces can be evaluated either in the far-field plane or by summation of pressure forces, and they can be expressed either in wind or body axes. See the exchange in the thread “Mismatch forces: extracted from .csv VS displayed in software” for more information.
I’ll try to clarify this in the next version.
