When opening flow5 the window stays completely blank, however clicking at the right spot will open the menus and changing into the subroutines does work.
In the subroutine foil design the design windows (NACA foil design, foil from spline, etc.) get displayed correctly. The Preferences window also does get displayed while the openGL settings window doesn’t.
Computer:
– MacBook Pro 8,1
– i7-2640M, Integrated Intel HD 3000 Graphics, 16GB RAM
– Windows 10.0.18363
Note: The Visual C++ libraries have been installed & xflr5 runs without a problem.
In macOS everything gets displayed correctly, however flow5 crashes upon trying to load or design a foil; but I will report this in a separate bug report.
Hi Stefan,
In the OpenGL window, could you please try to request a 2.1 context and after that a 3.3 context and report how it goes?
Thanks,
André
Please post here in each case the text of the output window.
